Recent Development – March 19, 2017

It’s been a while since we’ve posted to our blog for no other reason than we’ve been deep in application development and client services for the last 12 months.

In the event you have missed Frontdesk notifications or have not kept up to date with new releases, here is a summary since our last post.

4.2.0 – We added a new optional booking engine that displays horizontally versus vertically. We added the ability to backup your database prior to upgrading.

UPDATE: The booking engine has been completely rewritten as a stand-alone, streamlined and mobile-friendly module

4.2.2 – The majority of development in this version was behind the scenes to pave the way for future advancements.

4.2.3 – Other than some minor bug fixes, nothing visible in this version.

4.2.4 – We added a booking summary on the Add New Booking in the Frontdesk to quickly show you how the underlying calculations arrive at the total booking amount. We added minimum night rules on a per room basis. We added the ability to send booking confirmations to additional email addresses. We added the ability to hide specific rooms on a per embed code basis.

4.2.6 – Other than some minor bug fixes, nothing visible in this version.

4.2.8 – We added the ability to blackout dates. We added IP tracking.

4.3.0 – We added automatic email follow-ups.

4.3.2 – We added some debug options that will expedite support.

4.3.3 – We added enhanced connectability to Campaign Monitor, you can now define triggers that automatically subscribe or unsubscribe guests to multiple email lists.

Version 4.3.4 is scheduled to be out before the end of March and will include additional reporting.
